- True or False on treatments for the Black Death, do it as a team game, encourage discussion amongst students
- Create a medieval cure (ointment or medicine or process) for the Black Death using common medieval cures; have to think about the symptoms and how what medieval people used them
- Advertise the cure on a poster or written review
- In small groups act out reactions to various scenarios related to the Black Death: family members falls ill and dies very quickly, a strange traveller asks for somewhere to stay for the night, using one of the cures explored, reactions to the Black Death
